We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our practitioners’ time, we have adopted the following policies:
24-hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give us 24-hours advance notice, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled session fee. This amount must be paid before your next scheduled appointment.
Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive 10 minutes late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your practitioner will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment or if you need to reschedule. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session price.
Out of respect and consideration to your practitioner and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
Multiple Sessions Paid-In-Advance
All multiple sessions are paid in advance and are discounted. Once a multi-session begins, there will be no refund. However, you have six-weeks from the date of purchase to use up your remaining sessions.
Reiki Classes & Make-Ups
To register for a Reiki class, a deposit of $50.00 is required. Level III class is a deposit of $100. The balance is due by the night of the first class. If you cannot take the class, and give more than 7 days notice, your deposit or full payment may be used and transferred to a future class, or refunded in full. if less than 7 days notice is given, your deposit or full payment can be transferred or refunded, less a $25 cancelation fee. Cancelation of your spot less than 24 hours before the beginning of the class means you forfeit your deposit. If we do not hear from you before the class begins, and you do not show up, your seat will be forfeited, as well as any payment you have made, if any. Once the 4 week series has begun, and you miss a subsequent class, make-ups may be scheduled, for a charge of $40, per class.
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment or class or workshop for whatever reason will be considered a no-show. They will be charged for their missed class/appointment in full. This amount must be paid before booking a future service.
Workshop Refund Policy
Any deposit or payment for a workshop may be refunded in full if the cancellation is made at least 7-days before the start of class. If canceled less than 7 days, but more than 24 hours before the event, 50% will be refunded. If canceled less than 24 hours before the start of the workshop, all payments will be forfeited. Once any workshop or multiple therapy session begins (Reiki, Massage, etc.), there are no refunds. (Refer to Multiple Sessions Paid-In-Advance & Workshop Make-up Policy)
